Queen Anne Silver Plated 3 Tier Folding Serving Tray, Made In England

Some things are just so adorable they become a must have. This is one of them.

Two concave and pierced hinged plates, set below a swing top plate, fold out into a 3-tier lightweight serving tray, silver plated with the WOW factor, and perfect for cake, cookies, and bite sized treats. When done, just fold the plates for a neat, easy fit between a toaster, microwave, or any small storage area. How ingenious!

This incredible pre-owned tray by Mayell and Co. of England comes with its original tag and, graced with a doily, makes a uniquely admired vintage piece. 

Features include an embossed floral handle and a round base. Two knobs on the side of the handle can be tightened to secure the top tier and loosened for storage.

Totally unique, incredibly useful, and easy to store, this timeless beauty will be the envy of the party.

Condition: There appears to be some permanent tarnish, possibly from long-time unused storage, to the underside of one tray. along with a small tarnish spot on the top side of one plate. Some minor plating loss to the topside of the base is seen. One 4mm scratch to the back of one plate, along with a thin scratch to the base (see photos) is noted. 

This is a striking, sophisticated and well crafted English made presentation piece. This unit has an impressive shiny polish. It opens freely and has all its pieces. There are no dents. It does not appear to have been used, just stored and scraped over time in the areas noted.

Note: This is a metal item. The cuts to the plates are smooth on the top but are lightly sharp on the underside so handle use and awareness is advised.
