This sturdy, boldly colorful "Design Naif" piece by artist Gerard LaPlau is particularly unique, when compared with other round boxes sold online (with plain sides), as it displays an extra folksy touch of three equally colorful panels  of country farm/village scenes.

Condition: Great. Paint specks are seen to the box interior; there is 1" area on the lid (upper left) where the hand painted trim is not perfectly rounded. Some light shelf marks to the underside.

There are no chips, cracks, stains, crazing or wear. The polish is smooth, intact and the colors are bright with no wear.
