Tuscan Orleans Fine English Bone China Teacup/Saucer Pair 1947-1966

Teal-like blue and tan scrolls swirl about as lively floral bouquets spread from wall vases. To the center of this beautifully polished set cup is a medallion of blooms fenced in by mellow blue and tan spears. A very, very elegant Tuscan Works (RH & SL Plant) addition to any English fine bone china collection.

Dimensions: Cup- 2 1/4"H x 3 3/4"W opening

                     Saucer- 5 1/2"W

Condition: Great. The gold trim is shiny yet with very minor age-related wear; a light colored and faint 1/4" smudge of paint to the saucer backside. 

There are no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing. The colors are sharp and bright and the artwork shows no wear. The cup and saucer both have a nice ping. 

Teacups are like small pieces of jewelry-they tell a story, they are displayed, shown off with pride, and prized from one generation to another. Like jewelry the time comes when such beauties are not so 'minty" young.  And yet these lovely items have lasted so long for a reason. 

They are still in their prime. Seasoned with time-honored character.
