Following WW2, allied-occupied Germany was partitioned with the southern US zone controlling the Bavarian region. This delicate looking, yet having a sturdy porcelain feel cup and saucer set was thus manufactured during the US Occupation.
Blue, pink, yellow, red, and violet flowers, along with bold green leaf detail, are set against a very white background, lightly embossed near the rim, as stripe and scrolled gold trim adds bright elegance to this rococo-styled pair.
Origin: Germany/Bavaria; pre-owned
Dimensions: Cup-2 1/8"H x 3 1/2"W opening
