When the moment calls for treating your guests with style and distinction this Royal Tettau seven piece, twelve place setting collection is the choice. We could not find this exact pattern or any of its pieces anywhere online-anywhere- and feel very fortunate to have acquired it, for its design, size, and great quality.
A border of windswept pink and white ribbons, heavily trimmed in gold, cross over small delicate gold leaf. It sounds simple but your guests are in for a little bit of magic.
Under certain lighting, at an angle, the gold amazingly diminishes the pink and turns the design into a reflective, blazing gold against white (you can see the effect in some of the pictures). How regal! Under the same light you can also see you hand through the translucent porcelain, especially through the lightweight soup bowls.
It is not hard to figure this Royal Tettau pattern was very well made. The plates have a thick rim on the underside and both the gravy boat and large platter are supported by double rings.
Delicate, strong, and sophisticated it is German porcelain quality at its expected finest.
