From brewing a Heather Ale to wearing a legendary "lucky" bridal bouquet, what is more tied to Scottish heritage than the heather flower?

This Rosina bright white bone china tea cup pays homage to the lilac and white bells, bound amid bountiful green leaf and tartan ribbon. Lovely with so much Scottish pride.

Origin: England; pre-owned; c. 1952

Dimensions:  Cup-2 1/2"H x 3 3/8" opening

                      Saucer- 5 1/2"W

Condition: Very Good/Good. This 67 year old set has some quality issues from manufacturing. Some very faint spots of the floral paint are seen against the white (see the front rim, it is not a chip but a green spot), along with three small china bumps- one to the rim of the cup and two pinhole-sized ones to the saucer. There is some light age wear to the gold trim but it still has retained it bright shine.

There are no chips, cracks, crazing, stains, or repairs. The design is bright and the glaze is well intact.

❤️ THE LOVE OF VINTAGE ❤️

Teacups are like small pieces of jewelry-they tell a story, they are displayed, shown off with pride, and prized from one generation to another. Like jewelry the time comes when such beauties are not so 'minty" young.  And yet these lovely items have lasted so long for a reason.

They are still in their prime. Seasoned with time-honored character.

Our goods are unique, quality time pieces of the past which have been inspected, researched and carefully handled to be prized. We will never sell any teacups with cracks or major damages. Our condition findings, along with our photos, are detailed as thorough and honestly as we can see, as your satisfaction is our main priority.
