Honoring H.M. Queen Elizabeth II are two plates twenty years apart, one from her travel to The United States in 1957 and the other to celebrate her 1977 Silver Jubilee.
Made from bone china by the esteemed Coalport English pottery, this Limited Edition commemorative plate, numbered 509 of 1000 pieces made, centers a silhouetted enamel profile of The Queen while a pink flower and gold leaf decoration borders the gold trimmed rim. A beautiful piece.
When both H.M. Queen Elizabeth II and H.R.H. Prince Philip visited the United States in 1957 a stunning centerpiece decorated this 65-year old commemorative plate, capturing the beauty of the young Queen against a dramatic pink curtain. Let's Face The Future Hand In Hand."
Also included is a high quality (A1) electro plated nickel silver Coronation spoon manufactured by English silversmiths, Priestley and Moore. Displayed on the handle is a raised profile of the newly crowned Queen Elizabeth II and the coronation date June 2, 1953. It is clean and beautifully polished.
