Noritake's Imperial China, circa 1940 dinnerware of an unknown pattern, historically marks the first year Noritake used the "N" mark on the back of their china.
And what an incredibly gorgeous design they chose for the honors. A bright white background, gold trim, a delicate touch of cream, and bouquets of pink, red, blue, and yellow flowers spring to life amid green leaf vine scrolls.
Unique to this vintage tableware set is the scalloped and square salad plate and double handle footed soup bowl and saucer. Imperial is the fitting way to describe this radiant design.
