Made of a lightweight resin/plastic base and plated in a polished, mirror-like silver finish, the rotating box, spun from the detachable lid finial holds six 3x4 glass-framed photos that are latched against a compartmentalized felt lined interior.
Lifting the lid not only allows for picture placement, but as serves as a storage box for small, prized keepsakes such as the baby's teeth or hospital footprints.
To the exterior the box is a token of the fun to come--a carousel ride of poles, horses and a scroll-decorated exterior colored with jewels. Absolutely heart-warming.

Condition: Great. Two areas, one on the lid, one on the underside, have scuff marks (see photos). Extreme, very light storage rubbing to the underside felt is seen (hard to notice). No other issues are noted. This carousel turns freely with no issues, is clean, polished and beautifully presentable. Very, very nice.
