Heisey Rose Etched Waverly Design 3-Light Candlestick Pair. c.1949-1957

A remarkable, spellbinding example of American crystal!

Originally named "Oceanic", Heisey's pattern, number 1519, was renamed "Waverly", a marine-themed design of wave crests and foam bubbles. When the piece was given the added elegance of etching number 515, it was referred to as "Heisey Rose".

Thus, an absolutely stunning, jaw-dropping pair of candlesticks. 

Solid and highly polished, beautifully etched at the base with a gorgeous large rose and leaf design, the curved wave crests give a first impression of roaring sea creatures with dolphin tails. Bravo to fine American craftsmanship!

Marked in the center with the pressed Heisey Diamond "H".

Condition: Great. Light shelf marks to the base underside. There are no chips, cracks, or stains. Each candlestick is clean, clear and polished.
