A raised country scene beautifully details a man and woman, a bag, and German text. From the lovely thumblift to the meticulously line-cut finial to the overall embossed work, this tankard is a unique pewter collectible.
Origin: Germany; pre-owned
Dimensions: 8 1/2"H (tallest point) x 6"W (est. base)
Condition: Very Good. Two small fleabite-like dings to the lid rim. We did notice an inconsistency of detail near the finial; it appears to be from manufacturing.
We are not experts in pewter or judging patina conditions, and we would ask you to examine the photos. We can say this tankard is solid with no loose parts, and free of breaks, and age related stains. The ring on the interior base appears to need expert cleaning. The base has some sticker residue and some light scraping from past cleanings.
