The little teacup with style and pizzazz!
Early 20th century refined Noritake art deco meets Merit's art "gone wild" moriage with this hand painted set unified by baby blue. Yellow, blue, green, and red clay applications burst like firework against a band of baby blue and a white porcelain base to frame a gentle rose design. What a stunning piece of artwork!
Gentle roses compliment a splendid single handled serving dish by Noritake Morimura, c.1918. A baby blue scalloped rim borders an ivory center decorated with a gold/black grid pattern set beneath a misty pink and bronze/white leaf floral display.
