Bluenique is unique.

This standout Epic Bluenique candy dish by Viking Glass goes above and beyond art glass design with an elegant silver floral Flanders pattern overlay applied by Silver City Glass. Six flowing petals of thick darker teal blue glass folds and thinner light blue glass depressions are beautifully rimmed by sterling. The base of embossed petals is itself rimmed in sterling.

When held to light this glossy teal blue art glass displays hues of green which at one angle turn the entire piece into green.

Origin: West Virgina, USA, c. 1957; three mold pressed glass; pre-owned

Dimensions: 6 5/8"W x 4 1/4"H

Condition: Great. Very light age wear to the sterling rim. There are no chips or cracks to the dish. The silver overlay is clear and clean. The dish is very smooth and reflects light beautifully.

NOTE: This was a hard color to photograph as the blue you see is not the actual blue. The real color is a teal/ cobalt blue combination. Dark as it is, the sterling contrast is more eye catching and brighter.
