Royal Albert The Cottage Garden Year Series "Winter" Footed Fine English Bone China Teacup/Saucer Set, c.1984

A distant wintry scene of frosty baby blue depicts a snow-covered cottage and playful youngsters (one is behind the tree!), all while lively holly and red berries accompany white and yellow flowers in the foreground.  Brrrr..time for a warm teatime sitting in elegant Royal Albert fashion.

Condition: A tiny, dot-like bubble of glaze is felt behind the handle (no damage). There are no chips, cracks, stains, crazing or wear. This set is clean, clear and polished with no loss of color or glaze. It does not appear to have been used.

Our teacup sets are vintage pieces and are not "new". They are no longer made (unless noted), reminders of a time gone by. 

Teacups are like small pieces of jewelry-they tell a story, they are displayed, shown off with pride, and prized from one generation to another. Like jewelry the time comes when such beauties are not so "minty" young.  And yet these lovely items have lasted so long for a reason. 

They are still in their prime. Seasoned with time-honored character.
