Paragon Yellow and Gold Floral Bone China Teacup and Saucer Pair. England. c. 1939-1949

A lively lemon yellow band of reflective gold harp-shaped scrolls and floral bouquets borders a bright white center of pink, purple, and white flowers.                      Saucer: 5 1/2"W

Condition: Very Good.  Very light use marks to the cup base and saucer well. Light wear seen to the cup-in the same spots- to the left scrolls above the gold leaf detail (perhaps from manufacturing?). A very, very light wisp of purple paint is seen to the saucer yellow band.

The bottom exterior of the teacup has faint yellow paint spots, also from manufacturing. (see photo).

There are no chips, cracks, age related stains, or crazing. The colors are vivid and the gold is bright.
