Issued between 1939 and 1949 this stunning mint green rose and leaf teacup and saucer pair by Paragon bears the Royal Warrants of both Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth I (the Queen Mother), and her predecessor, Queen Mary. A high handle and bright gold trim make this a standout to any teacup collection.

Origin: England; pre-owned
Dimensions: 2 1/8"H x 3 7/8"W opening
Condition: Very Good. There are no chips, cracks, stains, crazing or repairs.
Some minor production flaws to both cup and saucer include a few glaze pricks and tiny light brown/black specks (only noticeable on close inspection). The inside base of the cup (see photo) has two tiny spots, perhaps from spoon use.
The exterior white to the cup is clear of any marks.
One small 3mm scratch to the saucer, along with some color wear to a half-inch section of the saucer depression rim is seen. While the trim on the saucer is bright and intact, we could feel what appears to be a rough spot to the rim, but, under magnifying glass, appears to be a tiny area missing glaze.
The gold trim is bright with no wear.
Despite what is noted, none detracts from this set as it is solid, clean and in gorgeous vintage condition.
