Donegal Parian China Pink Rosebud Embossed Tea Cup and Saucer Set. c.1985-1999. Ireland.

The beauty of this exceptional set by Donegal Parian China is the embossed diamond-shaped detail which leaves a unique, raised texture on the inside and underside of both cup and saucer. 

The incredible feeling of appreciation one has for Donegal's fine craftsmanship is ever present when lifting the delicate saucer, almost paper thin, leaving one to wonder, how on earth, it has held itself firmly and not yet broken. Simple and exquisite.
