Delicate and dainty-looking this antique teapot/ sugar bowl pair by Charles Ahrenfeldt displays small purple, orange-rust, red, and very light gray flowers, amid gracefully raised gold leaf and scroll detail.
As the spout interior has a ceramic imperfection from manufacturing, if the teapot is not used it will make a beautiful collectible to your teapot or teacup display.
Clearly seen on the teapot underside (partially on the sugar bowl) is the impressed "Depose" mark along with the green underglaze "CA" Mark 3 and the red overglaze decorator ".C. AHRENFELDT" Mark 8c, both dating the pair as made between 1894-1930.
