Hefty and well-made, this 84 oz. Villeroy and Boch French Garden water pitcher, with its painted green and bright yellow trellis, celebrates European crabapples, or "Malus sylvestris".

The charm of the piece, however, is the 3-D white and green leaf bloom of the crabapple tree. If not preferred for use to hold water, due to its weight, this pitcher adds a rustic country presence as a floral vase. A nice touch.

Condition. Great. Light marks seen under the pitcher handle trellis artwork and to the underside (see photos). There are no chips, cracks, stains or crazing. The pitcher is clean with no color or glaze wear.
