Spode Marlborough Sprays Round 2.5 and 1.25 Quart Covered Casserole Set of Two, England

Well-made of very sturdy earthenware and beautifully polished, these Marlborough Sprays casserole pieces by Spode, the lids trimmed in pink, bring a contemporary but charming Victorian pink, yellow, and blue roses floral presence to your table. 

The large 2.5 Qt. casserole, still with its Royal Worcester/Spode quality inspection sticker is amply perfect for rice or stews, while the smaller 1/25 Qt. casserole, with its reversed rose pattern is right for yammies or greens. Gorgeous and long lasting.

Condition: Great. There are no chips, cracks, stains, crazing or wear. We noticed one use mark to the smaller casserole. Some storage/ shelf marks to the underside are noted. The pattern has no wear and the colors are vivid. The glaze is beautifully smooth and shiny. Both pieces are clean and in beautiful condition.
