Blooming flowers are at their peak in this garden feast of colors teapot by Sadler.
Robust deep pink, white and blue flowers, and lots of greens, are gracefully set against the off-white/ ivory textured background of this 32-ounce lady. The design is also detailed on the handle, lid, and spout.
The interior of the teapot is flawlessly clean and shiny. The spout is free flowing, with no punch holes. The lid safety features include an easy to hold tapered finial, a lid tab to hold the lid in place, and a vent hole for safe pouring.
Romantic and bright this teapot brings a "graceful"presentation to your table, or as a gift, adds a sentimental touch of rosie cheer.
The base bears the Sadler mark in addition to the raised words "Sadler" and "England".
Origin: England; pre-owned; Post 1995
Dimensions: 6"H x 9"W (spout to handle)
Condition: Very Good. There is a small imperfection of the floral decal application on the teapot lid prior to glazing in addition to a pin head glaze bump (not a chip).
There is no crazing inside and outside of the teapot, but a very faint stain to the underside beneath the glazing and under the raised "Sadler" was noted. It is near one of the pottery maker's marks, so perhaps this may have occurred during the glazing phase of manufacturing. It does not affect the integrity or beauty of the teapot.
There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or wear. The design is sharp, the colors are bright and the glaze is smooth and well intact. A charming piece.
