Cambridge Glass 9"Long Light Emerald Vaseline Glass Swan Candy/ Bon Bon Dish, RARE. c. 1939-1954

It was love at first sight.

Made by the esteemed Cambridge Glass Company, despite having some minor chips to it, this Vaseline glass swan has that magical X-factor which transcends any flaws and explains why it is most sought after by collectors.

Direct a black light at it and this large, hard-to-find Light Emerald swan and it will instantly go from an unassuming light depression green to a commanding, radiant green, illuminating its full feathered, beautifully detailed design.

What a breathtaking show stopper!

Dimensions: 9 1/8"L x 5 3/4"H (head), 3 1/2"H(bowl) 

Condition: Great. There is one 5mm (est.) chip to the underside rim and one 4-5mm (est.) nick to the left wing tip (it is very hard to see since the green is heightened in the tip area). A small 5 mm (est.) scratch to the underside is noted. A manufacturing straw mark and light shelf smudges are seen to the underside. Three manufacturing bubbles seen in the neck area.
