Portmeirion The Holly and The Ivy Gravy Boat w/ Underplate

With its Holly and Ivy botanical design this bright white and beautifully finished  earthenware gravy boat with underplate by Portmeirion, makes a festive English addition to any Holiday table.

The wording reflects the British folk Christmas carol, "The Holly and the Ivy": "The Holly and the ivy when they are both full grown (top)... of all the trees that are in the wood the holly bears the crown"(bottom).

Condition: Some light use marks seen to the underplate. 

There are no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing. Each piece is clean, the design is clear and sharp with no wear and the colors are vivid. the polish is smooth and shiny.
