Tan and cream colored scrolls, centaurs, snails, a rabbit, horse, and monkey decorate this fashionable art-deco styled navy and gold trim bone china mantel clock from the Wedgwood 1995 Bicentenary Celebration. Signed "J. Wedgwood".

The clock movement itself is made in West Germany by Hechinger.

A little over six inches wide, this collectible Wedgwood beauty adds perfect pizazz anywhere, a side table, a curio (along with your prized dinnerware), and yes, on a mantel. Very pretty.

The clean backside has "Bicentenary Celebration, (Signed) J. Wedgwood, Cornucopia, Wedgwood, Bone China, Made In England, 1995" lettering.

NOTE: With respect to Trademark/ logo rights, photos of the some undersides are unfortunately not shown. We do our very best to verify all marks and stand by what we sell. Feel free to contact us with any questions.

Origin: England; pre-owned; 1995

Dimensions: 6 3/8"W x 4 1/4"H x 1 1/2"D

Uses one "N" battery (enclosed as a courtesy).

Condition: Great. While the back plate to the clock itself has minor scuffing, the clock itself still retains the protective cardboard inside the battery compartment (perhaps unused). Other than what is noted the bone china is highly polished with no chips, cracks, or wear. The design is clear, sharp and with no wear. The trim is bright with a very small spot of age wear between the area of three and four o'clock; it is hard to spot due to the shiny trim.

We tested the clock for three days, using the required "N" (E90BP-2/1.5V) battery and it worked accurately, as expected from a Hechinger movement.
