Villeroy and Boch Naif Christmas Large Candy/ Trinket Box with Lid. Made In Germany.

Made of a warm white durable VITRO porcelain this lovely candy box, with its cheery red trim features a  bright colored wintry village scene of townspeople going about their day.

The Naif Christmas design by French folk artist Gerard Laplau, brings the joy of the snowy season to your table. A couple gathers wood as elders trot by in their horse carriage. A younger couple surveys their land while a child plays with the family dog. A warm, charming, and very nice gift item.

The dish has the black "Villeroy and Boch anno 1748, Ancienne Maunufacture Imperiale et Royale, Luxembourgh, Vitro Porcelaine" lettering.

Condition: Great. A faint tiny scratch is noted on the underside, hidden within the lettering. This lovely box is in clean, colorfully sharp, wonderful condition, with no color loss or any wear.
