Clear Blown Art Glass 14" Parrot Figurine

Set upon its bold, stylish scalloped pedestal base, this solidly blown art glass piece sports a timid beak, delicately curled like a small smooth wave. 

But there is that 8-inch tail! Upswept with confidence, dramatic and smoothly pointed, it is the star of the piece and a striking eye catcher.  What a gorgeous display.

Dimensions: 13  3/4"H (base to tail tip) x 4 3/4"W base

Condition: Great. There is a very light smudge mark on the right breast of the parrot, seen only when held to the light. Three pinhead sized white speck filaments are embedded in this blown glass piece- two in the tail and one in the base, in addition to a tiny pin-sized crater mark to the rear of the tail. The right wing tip has a 1/4" glass shear or straw mark that was not smoothed out. The integrity of the figurine is not affected by any of these observations.

There are no chips, cracks, stains, or repairs. A beautiful piece.
