Bohemia Jaromir Schubert (JAS) Hand Cut Art Nouveau Vaseline Sculptured Glass "Grape Harvest" Nude Maiden Vase

This small vase is full of surprises.

Designed by art deco/ art nouveau Bohemian artist Frantisek Pazourek, for the Hoffmann-Schlevogt glassworks during 1930's Czechoslovakia, their famed luxury art glass "Ingrid" figural sculpture was reproduced during the 1990's by high quality, pre-war historical Czech-glass manufacturer Jaromir Schubert (JAS). 

The body of this beautifully molded lavender colored vase of six figural nude maidens dancing around a harvest of grapes and vines is overall given a satin finish, while some body parts, as if accentuating shadows, are highlighted in clear polish.  

Both the base and stove pipe neck are hand cut. The neck is plain, round, rimless and smooth, while the 12-sided faceted flat base underside is an incredibly illusionary stare into a cavernous inside. How did they do that?

And did we mention this lavender vase is green? 

Also known as Uranium or Vaseline glass, this vase turns to a radiant green under black light. Very stunning 1930's style.

Condition: Great. There are no chips. cracks, stains, or wear. Beautiful condition.
