What an exquisite and elegant teacup and saucer pair by Zeh Scherzer (1908-1992).

The floral gold trim is mirror reflective bright as is the trim to the cup and saucer edges. The Ivory/Cream is decorated to the cup exterior, saucer border, and scalloped cup base with an embossed pattern of airy scrolls and added gold floral detail. Stunning and noble.

Condition: Great. There are no chips, cracks, scratches, stains, crazing, or wear. The gold is stunningly bright, reflective, and polished. The detail is sharp, and the glaze is smooth and beautifully polished. This is an absolutely, remarkable set.
