Such a unique Waterford piece to have among any fine crystal collection.
Honoring the brilliant cuts of Waterford's early Nineteenth century artist, foreman cutter Samuel Miller, this 2000 Waterford Society Dessert Dome and plate pair displays deeply cut diamond, criss-cross, fan, and star detail, all light reflecting, clear, prismatic from any angle.
This set weighs an impressive 3.8 pounds and this is due to the incredible 1/4" thick dome, smooth on the inside with the rim itself offering a dazzling peek behind the surface cuts. Gorgeous Waterford.
Box not included.
Dimensions: Dome- 5 1/4"H x 4 3/4"W
Condition: Light surface marks seen to the plate surface, it seems from the weight of the dome rim. The plate marks are stressed in the photos, at an angle, under heavy light, yet are hard to spot in natural daylight. (Note: When displaying the piece, a felt cloth is advised to avoid any further markings.)
There are no chips, cracks, stains, or repairs. Each piece is clean, clear with the original Waterford seahorse label.
