In a packed room of crystal this one vase stood out for its brilliance and clarity.
The answer is from the many cuts from top to bottom: Spear shaped vertical cuts flow into raised triangles, which settle into a ripple of four rings, which disperse into widening kite-shaped cuts which stunningly smooths into the rounded base of clear crystal and more vertical cuts. And, of course, the underside with Waterford's signature 16-point star cut.
Such a standout Waterford beauty.
Acid etched with the old Waterford mark, found in the clear rounded area of the bowl.
