The Danbury Mint Heart Shaped 7"W "The Hummingbird Jewelry Box".

Such a lovely dresser display piece.

This is not a small trinket box, but an ample 7 inch wide porcelain container of two white, gold-trimmed, felt-lined nested porcelain trays, capped by a striking lid decorated in vividly colorful raised hummingbirds and flowers. So beautiful to the touch! 

The heart shaped edges are trimmed in green stemmed, orange/yellow trumpet blooms, along with a sparkle of bright green rhinestones. Graceful.

Dimensions: 7 1/4"W x 3 1/2"H 

Condition: Great. Though not in mint condition, the felt is clean, with some rubbing    inside the bottom open heart box; some very, very light gold trim wear to the  gold trim (see photo); the lid trim has a 1 inch area with some missing gold, perhaps from manufacturing.

There are no chips, cracks, stains or repairs. The box is clean, polished, the lid design is sharp with no loss and the rhinestones are all in place.
