Sasaki Wings 12" Centerpiece Bowl, c.1975-2005

Weighing in at almost nine pounds, this hard to find 12 inch centerpiece by Sasaki, from its most admired and sought after "Wings" design, presents a hefty 1/4" thick glass bowl atop a stunning frosted base of three open-winged birds. Striking. 

 Origin: Japan; pre-owned

Dimensions: 12"W x 7 1/8"H x 5"W Base

Condition: Great. One 1/4" scratch to the underside near the rim is noted. Bubbles from the glass blowing phase during production, often common, are seen (see photo).

There are no chips, cracks (just the scratch), stains, or wear. The bowl is clean, clear and polished. The frosted birds are clean, intact, with no wear.
