Gorgeous swirls in motion, so bright, clear and mirror-like.
This smooth and elegant England made Windsor design by Sadler, of cream and gold, is perfect for all fine dining, especially table settings laid out in cream or ivory dinnerware.
The matching lid, its own linear design stylishly coordinated to flow into that of the teapot body, is capped with a gold finial and zig zag pattern that repeats on the spout and handle. A well balanced design with a generous 4 cup capacity.
Origin: England; pre-owned, pattern #2737
Dimensions: 8 3/4"W (handle to spout)
6 1/2"H
4 cup capacity
Condition: Very Good. There is some light wear to the finial gold base on the lid and to the tip point on the handle Some very, very light scuff lines to some of the front swirls on the front. The gold swirls are very bright so these marks are hard to see at arms length. A tiny, almost unnoticeable, 3mm gold thread stray rests on one of the ivory swirls by the handle.
There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or stains to the teapot. The glaze is shiny and the glaze shiny and intact.
A graceful teapot and one of Sadler's prettiest.
