Deep green Ivy and white flowers against a bright white background, and with a hint of gold trim. Simple and elegant.
Produced between 1950 and the 1960's, this Malvern shaped teacup is wide mouthed with a hexagonal shaped opening and a very chic high handle. A plain white base serves as a barrier to the comfortably rounded saucer, once more resplendent in the green and white pattern.
Origin: England; Pre-owned.
Dimensions: Cup- 3 1/2 Opening x 2 5/8"H
Saucer 4 5/16"W
Condition: Very Good. There is a smudge mark to the rim of the cup and some light dust spotting. These are under the glaze, during production. There are no chips, cracks, stains, or any crazing. The design is clear and the glaze smooth and shiny.
❤️ THE LOVE OF VINTAGE ❤️
Teacups are like small pieces of jewelry-they tell a story, they are displayed, shown off with pride, and prized from one generation to another. Like jewelry the time comes when such beauties are not so 'minty" young. And yet these lovely items have lasted so long for a reason.
They are still in their prime. Seasoned with time-honored character.
Our goods are unique, quality time pieces of the past which have been inspected, researched and carefully handled to be prized. We will never sell any teacups with cracks or major damages. Our condition findings, along with our photos, are detailed as thorough and honestly as we can see, as your satisfaction is our main priority.
