Rosenthal Handpainted Pink, Blue, and Yellow Teacup/Saucer and Plate 16-piece Collection c.1934-1956.

The beautifully hand painted floral brushstrokes make these extra wide Rosenthal teacups a standout collectible. Bright and lifelike they swoon around the curves of the plate and flow along the teacup and saucers as if suspended in water, the green leaf blades listless. Simple and gorgeous.

Origin: Selb-Germany, c. 1934-1956; there are two backstamps to this date range. One is the Germany "V" mark and the other with the Selb factory dash and dot marks; pre-owned.

                     6 Saucers (2 Pink, 2 Yellow, 2 Blue)- 5 3/4"W

                     4 Teacups (2 Blue, 1 Pink, 1 Yellow)- 2"H x 4"W opening

Condition: Very Good. There is a speck of paint missing on the leaf detail on the inside of the yellow teacup. Some minor utensil marks are seen on the plates. Otherwise there are no chips, cracks, or crazing. The design is clear and bright and the glaze is well intact.
