The pastel pinks are as feminine as pink can get, and all beautifully trimmed with bright, thick 24K gold bands and handles.
These five stunning timeless works of art are hand painted over the inside cup surface and are signed by noted Pickard artist Edward S. Challinor. Six extra saucers, each with a different Challinor flower artwork are also included.
Born in 1877 to Staffordshire potters, Challinor studied art and apprenticed with Royal Doulton Potteries before joining Pickard China in Chicago from 1894-1938, where he specialized in landscapes and roses.
Pickard China is among the world's finest china manufacturers, having produced custom china for heads of state, royalty and American presidents. These richly colorful floral delights, simple, sturdy, vivid and timeless, are a testament to why this is so.
