A regal cobalt blue is decorated with an ornate pattern of gold scroll and interweaving ribbons. It is interesting how the gold elements against the blue band resemble the Paragon two lion back stamp. Against the bright white center rests an elegant medallion of fine lines and floral outline. Beautiful.
Origin: England; pre-owned; post 1963
Dimensions: Cup- 2 1/4"H x 3 3/4" opening
Saucer- 5 1/2"W
Condition: Great. We noted a slight pull of the gold filigree detail on the inside rim of the cup from manufacturing. All the gold detail is bright with no wear. There are no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing. This set is clean and bright, the blue coloring is vivid and the glaze is well intact. A very nice pair.
❤️ THE LOVE OF VINTAGE ❤️
Teacups are like small pieces of jewelry-they tell a story, they are displayed, shown off with pride, and prized from one generation to another. Like jewelry the time comes when such beauties are not so 'minty" young. And yet these lovely items have lasted so long for a reason.
They are still in their prime. Seasoned with time-honored character.
Our goods are unique, quality time pieces of the past which have been inspected, researched and carefully handled to be prized. We will never sell any teacups with cracks or major damages. Our condition findings, along with our photos, are detailed as thorough and honestly as we can see, as your satisfaction is our main priority.
