A free style etching defines the floral Temple Blossom pattern from Lenox.
Lines are jagged, wide, star shaped, uneven, wild, and eccentric. And yet while there are different shapes, sizes and movements, all over the place, it is the unusual space between the lines that allows the abstract floral design to present a sense of serenity, as if flowing in a temple garden pond.
And what fun it is to twirl the glass bowl. The optic pattern of the bowl turns in orderly motion, like a carousel, in unison with the six pointed petal and mutisided stem.
Unique and lovely Lenox.
