Lefton Hand Painted Pink, Red Floral & Earth Tones Teacup and Saucer Set c.1950's

Rich tones of brushed earth brown and green grass blades set the stage for bursts of pink and orange floral blooms. A band of black against cream, gold trim, and a divine art deco style handle pair this beauty atop a scallop rimmed, fan like saucer. A beautiful design.

Condition: Great. There are no chips, cracks, stains, crazing. This is a hand painted set and there is some gold trim spotting on the inside of the handle. 

Teacups are like small pieces of jewelry-they tell a story, they are displayed, shown off with pride, and prized from one generation to another. Like jewelry the time comes when such beauties are not so 'minty" young.  And yet these lovely items have lasted so long for a reason. 

They are still in their prime. Seasoned with time-honored character.
