With its overhanging lid and wooden appearance, this charming Goebel "Burgund" teapot strikes a chord with country decor. Manufactured in their Oeslauer Porzellan Manufaktur (OPM) factory it displays a smooth, grained, wood-like walnut finish against an off white background, with strokes of gray floral and scroll etching tinted in tan, pink, yellow, violet and green. An air vent and lid cap are also featured for safe pouring. Topping the lid gingerly is a rounded white pom-pom like finial to complete this vintage Bavarian delight.
