George Jones and Sons/ Gilman Collamore and Co., Tea Cup/ Saucer c.1920's

This exquisite tea cup and saucer set by George Jones and Sons for the Gilman Collamore and Co. department store on 5th Avenue in New York was intended for the social elites.

Scalloped pattern 19534 of brilliant white is hand painted with a six point star pattern of pink roses and green vine bordered by dotted/ solid gold trim and a green garland wreath.

Dimensions: Cup (3 3/4"W x 2 1/8"H)

                     Saucer (5 3/8"W)

Origin: England, c. 1920's. Pre-owned

Condition: Very Good. Vintage age wear and very faint scratches are noted on the cup and saucer. The cup has some excess gold dusting from manufacturing (see photo). There are no chips, cracks, stains and the glaze is well intact.
