Produced by Willetts Designs, this resin art piece arrived to us in a box (see condition below) and is missing a leaf that was positioned in the middle; the prior owner dotted the area with an adhesive to soften the spot. The area, fortunately is perfectly spaced to allow for personalization of the piece by attaching an item of your own: a crystal butterfly, a flower, or perhaps a small silver tab, etched with the baby's name.
Collected and admired for his stunning work depicting African American life experiences, artist Thomas Blackshear's "Winter's Nap" heartwarmingly captures a newborn baby adorably snuggled within a bird's nest, the chickadee itself resting its beak on the baby's bum. This oh-so-cute 4 1/2"W charmer fits into the palm of your hand and is certain to bring about a wider smile.
Origin: Thailand; 2001; pre-owned
Dimensions: 4 1/2"W x 3 7/8"H
Condition: Very Good. One leaf (middle) is missing and the area has a glue-like spot over the connection. A slight imperfection to the coloring on the bird's back. Otherwise the piece has no issues. There are no chips, cracks, or wear.
NOTE: This piece has its box and foam insert but it is, in our opinion, not presentable. We have included a photo of the label for review, yet the box will likely be discarded (unless requested) before shipping the piece.
