EB Foley England Maroon and Gold Gilt Corset Shaped Bone China Teacup and Saucer Pair. 1948-1963.

A romantic maroon, elegantly draped in gold scrolls and flower petals, is decorated at the base with a raised and scalloped bright white and gold design, reminiscent of a turn of the century hair comb. This corseted lady is all about Victorian polish and refinement.

Dimensions: Cup- 2 7/8"H x 3 1/4" opening

                       Saucer: 5 3/8"W

Condition: Great. Very, very little, light use marks to the saucer well. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or stains. There are some areas where we noted very light issues to the gilt, but we do not consider it as wear, for the gilt is overall bright, sharp,  and shiny. the colors are vivid, and the glaze is smooth and beautifully polished.
