Culver Industries Egyptian Pharaoh Highball Glass Set of Six, c.1960-1970s

Highly collectible and sought after, the Culver Glass Company was founded in 1939 until the c.1990's when it was sold to Moderne Glass Company, Inc.

During its mid-century glory days, Culver Ltd. produced varied themed and chic, decorative high heat-fired 22Kt gilded, textured glassware. This Egyptian themed design of Pharaoh and hieroglyphics is not only a uniquely rare pattern, but also a Culver prize in such an intact condition. Dramatic, polished and striking.

Hand wash only, as dishwashing will erode the gold detail. Not microwave safe.

Condition: Great/ Excellent. Light connection inconsistencies of the gold top/bottom bands from manufacturing is seen on all glasses. There are no chips, cracks, stains or wear to the gold. These glasses appear unused, sharp and are, based on what is noted, close to excellent condition.
