Rosenthal-Continental Moss Rose 16-Piece Pompadour Ivory Rimmed Salad and Fruit Bowl Set, c.1950-1956

Scalloped edges, with a touch of raised scrolls, and an old world "pompadour" flair, this sophisticated 16-piece Rosenthal collection of salad and fruit bowls  boasts simple but colorful off-center bouquets of budding red roses and green leaf detail.

A lovely addition to an existing collection or any ivory-based dinnerware pattern.

This set displays two similar Rosenthal green marks, one with "US Zone" and one without. Two salad, and all fruit bowls, have the "US Zone" mark.  

Origin: Germany; pre-owned

Condition: Great. Very light to no marks seen to the salad bowls. No issues are seen to the fruit bowls.

There are no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing. The design is sharp with no color loss and the glaze is smooth and polished.
