Gloriously hand-painted over black and red transfer, multi-colored and made of sturdy English bone china, this collection, perhaps fitting for two, is one of the most beloved and collected exotic dinnerware patterns
First manufactured by Coalport in 1801, the Indian Tree design is a garden of pink, green, teal blue, violet, flora amid a crooked brown centerpiece tree branch. A ring of honeycombed panels and metallic bronze frame the the scene, itself framed by a rim of pink and green bouquets and an incredible Greek-styled scalloped edge.

Condition: Very Good/ Great. Very light, hard-to-see, use marks seen to the plates. There are no chips, cracks, or stains. No crazing is noted to this nearly antique collection. The colors are vivid, the artwork is sharp, and the glaze is shiny and smooth. Please note there are some strays of paint (see photos) which do not impact but add a personal charm to this design. A beautifully cared for older collection of the Indian Tree pattern.
