Adderley England "Peace" Pink Floral and Heavy Gold Rimmed Fine Bone China Teacup and Saucer Pair. 1947-1960. RARE design.

This unique version of Adderley's beautiful and serene "Peace" design details a scalloped and textured swirl edged saucer and cup pair, also decorated with a rare wide and shiny brushed gold trim. (We have not seen this combination online).

And the rose. Bursting pink with lively greens, a yellow reflective hue to its petals, perfectly balanced with the golden trim, rests against a swirling, textured bright white bone china background. So elegant and poised for a lovely afternoon "me" moment.

Condition: Very good. Light use marks to the well of the saucer, one small scrape to the top of the handle and one small speck where gilt was not applied at the cup rim during production is noted.

There are no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing. The design is sharp and the colors are vivid. The gold gilt is bright and shiny and the glaze is polished and well intact.
