Classic meets contemporary.

A baroque styled, heavily gilt edge frames a lattice and gold scroll design which is accented with light blue/gray dots. This beautiful detail is again bordered by a thin gold scalloped ring with points that match to the points of the outer gilt

To the center a modern styled, heavily glazed orange band gives way to a plain white center, both sections separated by a plain gold ring. The footed cup base then ties the two styles together with a glazed orange band and heavily gilt scalloped trim.

Old meets new, and how stunning it looks.

Origin: Germany;pattern #40051; pre-owned

Dimensions: Cup- 2 1/2"H x 4 1/2"W opening

                     Saucer-6"W

Condition: Great. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, stains. The design is clear and the glaze is smooth and shiny. The gilt is sound, but with some minor age wear, especially to the center trim.

❤️ THE LOVE OF VINTAGE ❤️

Teacups are like small pieces of jewelry-they tell a story, they are displayed, shown off with pride, and prized from one generation to another. Like jewelry the time comes when such beauties are not so 'minty" young.  And yet these lovely items have lasted so long for a reason.

They are still in their prime. Seasoned with time-honored character.

Our goods are unique, quality time pieces of the past which have been inspected, researched and carefully handled to be prized. We will never sell any teacups with cracks or major damages. Our condition findings, along with our photos, are detailed as thorough and honestly as we can see, as your satisfaction is our main priority.
