Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous...We can go on and on...
This is what happens when English bone china, (from Chapmans Longton, a subsidiary of Thomas C. Wild and Sons, 1916-1966) is designed in elegant black and romanticized with pink roses. The cup itself is oversized, the handle high, and the base white with a thick gold band. It all works so beautifully!
Origin: England; Pre-owned 1949-1966
Dimensions: Cup-2 1/2"H x 4 1/4" opening
Saucer- 5 5/8"W
Condition: Great. Small overglazed spot and very minimal wear to the gold trim on the rim of saucer. Small imperfection to the black glaze (see photo). These issues are from manufacturing and do not detract from the stunning beauty of this set.
❤️ THE LOVE OF VINTAGE ❤️
Teacups are like small pieces of jewelry-they tell a story, they are displayed, shown off with pride, and prized from one generation to another. Like jewelry the time comes when such beauties are not so 'minty" young. And yet these lovely items have lasted so long for a reason.
They are still in their prime. Seasoned with time-honored character.
Our goods are unique, quality time pieces of the past which have been inspected, researched and carefully handled to be prized. We will never sell any teacups with cracks or major damages. Our condition findings, along with our photos, are detailed as thorough and honestly as we can see, as your satisfaction is our main priority.
