Jim Shore Heartwood Creek 5-Piece Basketful of Surprises Basket with Eggs/ Bunny/Chick Figurines, 2012

Partnered with Enesco, Jim Shore's Heartwood Creek wood/ resin-like designs have become known and beloved world-wide, and the "Basketful of Surprises" is a perfect example of folk art at its most adorable.

Beautifully detailed and hand-painted in pink, turquoise blue and green the highly detailed basket presents an ivory crisscross pattern trimmed with pink, blue and green florals. The cute, braided handle, resembling rattan, displays flowers on the sides bordering the centerpiece-a bluebird- freely dangling below a pastel pink bow. Cute all around.

Condition: Great. Light scuffing is noted to the handle side (see last photo). There are no chips, cracks, or stains.

The interior of the basket has a blue hue to the base. We have seen this in other baskets online and believe this is intentional from design.
